Not a whole lot going on, so let's go back to last week (
New York):
There are the times you go to the theater. And then there are the times you go to the theater and look over and discover you are sitting next to Lou Reed. Now, we are a celebrity journalist, and this was BAM's gala benefit for the opening of Macbeth, starring Patrick Stewart. But usually we're used to at least a few rows separating us from the famous ones, for their comfort but also, as it turns out, for ours, since it's really hard to concentrate on Shakespeare when you're simultaneously trying to concentrate on how Lou Reed is reacting to the show.
Apparently he fell asleep. But when the writer approached him, he said it was "just magnificent" and then recited:
Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death.
Sometimes I miss living in New York.

My friends and I have been big fans of advancement for about a year now, and I was excited to see that it met up with something we wrote about on our blog this time as well. We at
www.PopSense.com just did a piece on that Macbeth performance, and we think the performance itself was actually very advanced.
The other reason I really wanted to message you though was to ask about this new band we discovered from our area called "The Rusty Thorns". We got an interview with them on our site and we posted their first music video. We think they could be extremely advanced (or at least have the potential to be) and we'd love your take on it.
