- R.E.M is busy these days and are even going to play a little with Bill Berry. Glad to see they're not "sitting still"!
- New Order's Peter Cook is going to write a book about the "legendary Manchester venue the Hacienda." I wish I heard about this yesterday because I had a "blue monday"!
- The Breeders are going into the studio with Steve Albini to record a new album. I hope this won't be their "last splash"!
- Billy Bragg and MTV aren't getting along these days because of song-rights issues. Hopefully things will get resolved, and he'll be singing "greetings to the new bru-network"!
- Meat Loaf recently hired a vocal coach to prepare for Bat Out of Hell III. Even if this doesn't work and the record isn't so great, "two out of three ain't bad"!
- I apologize for this post.
