- R.E.M. are ready to rock again. Is Mitch Easter free?
- Rolling Stone is celebrating its 1000th issue. Ashlee Simpson will be on the cover. (Just kidding.)
- Bob Dylan's radio show is getting good reviews. If history is any guide, the second broadcast will be Nuclear Furniture in its entirety, and he will play harmonica instead of talking.
- Check out Jan Hammer rocking the keytar (an Advanced instrument in the right hands) on Miami Vice. It's short but sweet.
- Depeche Mode is getting remastered and reissued. Now if only they were replaced by a better band, then that would be progress.
- Looks like I'm going to have to buy Star Wars again. I wonder if George Lucas was behind New Coke.
