- U2 says Leonard Cohen is the "Original Rapper?" Sounds like they better check that batter!
- Forever Overt Joan Baez has stopped hugging trees and started living in one. She should get Robert Goulet to play the opening.
- Peter Gabriel has joined the advisory board of Image Metrics, a "performance capture technology solutions company." I hope their dress code doesn't say anything against wearing masks to meetings.
- Starbucks is cutting back on its media bars. I should cut back on my media bars, too. Those things really have a lot of calories.
- The town of Woodstock honored my favorite member of the Band, Levon Helm, by declaring May 20, 2006, Levon Helm Day. Rolling Stone has the pictures.

I don't think that U2 are Advanced. They are Attempted Overt. But I do thank them for giving me a good musical night in the back room a half empty pub one night many years ago when they were over for their first tour. Despite the glasses and leather they are still too normal. Of course, Leonard Cohen's other admirer, Price Charles, is almost off the scale for Advancement.
You're probably right about U2 (I've wrestled with that myself), but you're definitely right about Prince Charles.
