Please enjoy Lou Reed's Iraq protest song, which is a remix of "Walk on the Wild Side" (of course!). You won't believe how Advanced it is.

You were right, I was not ready for how Advanced that was, although not so Advanced that I didn't enjoy it immediately. Amazing how consistent his voice is 30 years on. Thanks.
Is censoring your own lyrics from "colored girls" to "girls girls" advanced?
I love Lou Reed, but good, advanced art (imho) should be timeless and at the very least transcend the transient nature of politics. This remix of "Wild Side" is like microwaving last night's filet mignon and putting this morning's hollandaise on it.

More proof that Lou is the original wrapper.
