- Gerard Malanga "introduc[ed] Warhol to Lou Reed, then danc[ed] on stage throughout the Velvet Underground's first tour. " Read all about him and his lead-pencil syringe.
- "Brown Sugar," "Honky Tonk Woman," "Beast of Burden," and "Let's Spend the Night Together, "were nixed from the Rolling Stones' set in China by censors. Strangely, the censors insisted that the Stones play all of Goat's Head Soup (and "One Hit to the Body," of course).
- The back catalog of Siouxsie and the Banshees is being refurbished. I could use a little refurbishing myself. I wonder how I can get that done.
- Def Leppard's covers record--including "Waterloo Sunset," "No Matter What," "20th Century Boy," and "Drive-In Saturday"--will be out in May. Sounds hot and sticky sweet.
- Pink is thinking about moving to Europe. I know what you're thinking, by the way: Which one is Pink?
- VH1 will be honoring "rock gods" KISS, Queen, Def Leppard, and Judas Priest in their show VH1 Rock Honors. Four at a time? Seems like VH1 is running the risk of running out of Rock Gods before the concept is exhausted.
