- Tommy Stinson is going to play bass for Soul Asylum. Gosh that makes so much sense.
- Dick Wolf will team up with Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger And John Densmore for a new "interview-based historical documentary" about the Doors. Can't wait until they put it out on DVD.
- Chrissie Hynde is honoring her late The Pretenders bandmates with a new box set she hopes will "see them finally receive the respect they deserve." I didn't realize they were lacking respect, but sure, why not?
- There was a snafu in the production of the recent Capital collection The Beatles: The Capitol Albums, Vol. 2, and I'm not talking about how they cut off Ringo's fingers.
- Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon, plus their daughter, Coco, will appear on the season finale of Gilmore Girls to perform an acoustic version of "What a Waste." I'll bet Kim and Coco have a similar relationship as Lorelai and Rory.
