Advanced Notice: Quincy Jones, Gorillaz, James Gang, File Sharing, Dylan and the Beats

Quincy Jones met with Nelson Mandela yesterday, who asked him, "What's Michael Jackson really like?" Naomi Campbell was there too, but Mandela escaped unharmed.

The Gorillaz show at the Apollo didn't go so well. In addition to technical problems, Neneh Cherry, Ike Turner, and Shane MacGowan all managed to disappoint in one way or another. They should have just had a showing of Heavy Metal.

In the "now that's what I'm talking about" category, the James Gang is going out on the road for the first time in 35 years.

Two thousand people across Europe have been sued for illegal file sharing. If you'll excuse me, I have to go delete some files...

Want to see previously unseen pictures of Bob Dylan hanging out with Beat Poets near City Lights Bookstore? You can. (Don't worry, you won't have to hear any Beat poetry. There is nothing more Overt, you know.)
